It's a pretty simple video, but it totally works. My favorite part is where Argos tries to dance. And just in case it wasn't clear who the song was responding to, Avril's name and photo pop up a few times. I would love it if this led to a response song by Avril. Hank Ballard came out with a whole series of "Annie" songs after Etta James' responded to his hit with a bigger hit of her own, "The Wallflower".

The GIRLFREN video is clever, but I must admit that Avril's song is still much catchier! Don't hate. You know you sing it alone in your car.
