500 Days of Summer - movie (2009)

If the opening and closing scenes in this trailer don't make at least one other QuickCritter smile, what else will? :)

Yeah, it looks like it could be pretty cool, although ZD is playing the quirky indie rock love interest a lot these days. I'm deducting interest points for Yes Man and Gigantic.

Yeah, she's probably cashing in on it while she can.

I'm pumped 'cuz I love rom coms from the male POV. Plus, I love how the trailer doesn't even hint at the likelihood that they probably don't end up together and he probably self-actualizes and realizes she sucks, lol.

Hah, Yes Man. Did you actually watch it? I loved her in Almost Famous the most!

I actually was forced to watch it twice while flying to Florida and back.

Speaking of cashing in, have you seen her in this yet? (no need to thank me, lol):

What's next... M. Ward singing about beef being what's for dinner?

No offense, and I mean that honestly, but, if anything, the trailer makes me want to never watch the movie... as opposed to the other way around.

Zooey is like oatmeal: Great on occasion, but bland when omnipresent.

No offense taken ever! Their music discussion was what made me smile the most. And I'm thinking the soundtrack will make up for the movie if it blows. Do you hate rom coms as a genre entirely, or do you actually like a few rare gems that are interesting and not of the entirely useless variety...

Hah, oatmeal. I agree... but not if you include the Maple Brown Sugar variety 'cuz I could eat that day and night :)

I think it could be a decent rental prospect, my money is going to the new terminater movie, summer blockbusters for life!

Haha, is this the one where Christian Bale went off on some douchebag tirade on the set?

Hmm, love the Terminator series but hated the last one, so hope this is better. I'm actually more siked about seeing Star Trek and Xmen, see those yet???

I actually saw the bootlegged new Xmen, but it was at a concert. They had it playing behind the bar with no sound on, so I was kinda in and out, more focused on the Merry Widows, so I think I need to see it again.
