Sharon's Top 6 Albums from 2017

Rostam - Half Light
Gwan's opening strings gives me goose bumps. I love how layered and thoughtful the albums feels.

Petite League - Rips You In The Night
Jesse was all "listen to this, it's awesome" and I was all "no, I hate you." Then I did and I never stopped. I also love their older stuff too.

Middle Kids - Middle Kids EP
Tracks 5 and 6 are just alright but the rest of the EP is gold. This was on repeat for a month straight.

Alvvays - Antisocialites
This alvvays gets me in a good mood. It's pure magic!

Ryan Adams - Prisioner
I really love this album but it's kinda of a shame that I associate it with Trump's inauguration... Also, Outbound Train sounds like a Whiskeytown b-side and I'm not complaining.

Phoenix - Ti Amo

There is something comforting and familiar about the album and I welcomed it with open arms.

I can vouch for the Middle Kids. The first two tracks on that EP are especially great. Caught them at a tiny new venue in Portland and they were so sweet and personable.
