Foster The People - "Pumped Up Kicks"

The light and catchy indie dance pop of Foster The People is just what I need after a weekend of binging on garage rock, punk, and deliciously greasy Venezuelan food. All three songs off their debut EP are pretty great, but the breezy and fun "Pumped Up Kicks" stands out and makes Monday bearable with its subtle hand claps and whistling. Good times.

They'll be be playing Mississippi Studios on March 25th.

More proof that every band should have a music video.

The song is breezy and fun, but after watching the video, you get the idea that their personalities reflect their music. Free marketing that connects with fans. I dig.

Thanks for this song! It made driving through the mountains of Colorado superfun and less scary.

Oh good. So glad you liked it.

I am pretty excited to see them at Mississippi Studios on Friday. I can't wait to hear the rest of their songs.

Their upcoming album must be good. They've already secured a spot at Coachella I just heard on the radio... Whaaa?

Well, their show on Friday has been sold out sold out for a while and all they have released is one 3 song EP! Granted each song is awesome, but that is still impressive.

Man, I just heard this song again on my playlist... it's so great, and the whistling just takes it to a whole 'nother level of awesomeness. Let us know how their show is!
