16 gb iPod touch

After talking about maybe getting one of these for the better part of 4 months I did it.. I have this problem of thinking things over a bunch and then wanting them instantly. I finally convinced myself to get the 16gb iPod touch and then went to Circuit City to get one and they only had the other sizes.. lame! Then a couple of days later I rode my bike over to Costco (who does that?) and they had every type of iPod except the one I wanted. I almost fell for their $10 lower price tag on the 32gb model but one of the main reasons that I wanted the 16gb is so that I'd be a bit more discerning about what I put on it. With my old iPod I had the tendency to think "this album is a classic I have to put it on!"... and all of the sudden it was full.

Anyways I finally broke down and ordered it online and two days later discovered that the iPod touch is awesome. I've done mostly non-music-listening things on it so far, like searching youtube and discovering that playboy has a mobile device site. iPod touch is seriously goodtimes... go out and get 2 or 3.

Don't tell me you are reluctant to load the Storyteller box set on there. You never know when your life will depend on your ability to play "The First Cut Is The Deepest".

Ok, so what are your top classic albums you usually include on your iPod that you rarely listen to, but like to have around?

ok so i've been working on loading up the new iPod and have had to do some serious considerin' when loading what I feel are classic/awesome albums.. I have it set up to automatically sync all my top rated songs and then a playlist of full albums that I want. Eventually I'll probably get more complex after I go to Jesse's school of "Playlists 101".

Anyways so far the complete Storyteller did not make it on but since there are so many top rated Rod Stewart songs I feel ok about it. Another casualty was discovering that maybe I don't need every single Thin Lizzy album at all times... once again plenty of top rated tunes to tide me over until I get home...

there will definitely be some more but these are just the first few that I have noticed.

So, now that you have had this for a lil bit, are you happy with it's performance?

In honor of this query I decided to make this comment using the ipod touch. I'm stoked on this thing! I thought I had a complaint but it turned out that I was just an idiot and didn't know how to turn "shuffle" on and off. Being able to e-mail and read quickcrit is a definite bonus too! Plus the covermode is so much fun to play with! Totally good times!!
